How can I pick HEX8 color codes layers from Adobe XD layers?
Adobe XD currently doesn't offer an option to pick colors as HEX8 (only as HEX, RGBa and HSLa). But there is a way how to do it with Avocode - see below.
Open the link in the browser, and change the color formats. Use the drop-down list to convert the color format into HEX8. This change is persistent across the entire session.

Need to export HEX8 color codes without Adobe XD? Try Avocode
No need to buy or install Adobe XD. Open layered Adobe XD designs on macOS, Windows, Linux or in the browser with Avocode and pick color codes pixel precisely, inspect and much more.
Start by switching to the Color picker in the toolbar. Then click on any part of the design. If you want to be pixel perfect, hold your mouse and a mangifying glass will show up so you can position your selection.
When you've chosen the precisely pixel you're picking the color from, release the mouse button and the HEX8 code value will be copied to your clipboard.
NOTE: HEX8 color code is set by default for Android projects. If you want to change the color code format, go to Design settings/Interface. There you can choose between HEX, HEX8, HSLa, UIColor and RGBa.
